Our programs are all about putting the person first. Living with Type 1 Diabetes is a tough enough day-to-day job. When you get to Dskate, that's our job. Your job is to learn how to be you. Dskate Hockey is a revolutionary program for boys & girls living with Type 1 Diabetes, combining diabetes education and hockey skill development into a one-of-a-kind experience for players and parents.

Dskate Toronto 2024 will be our biggest program ever, featuring a 5-day Dskate experience for 150 T1D players.

Backed by over a decade of experience and a unique and proven program model, Dskate Toronto 2024 will provide participants with more T1D support and specialized hockey development than they've ever experienced before.

Breanne Wilson-Bennett strives to be the best.

It's kind of her thing.

As a young girl, growing up in Markham, Ontario, Breanne laced up her skates as a "Tim Bit" and eventually found her way to playing AAA hockey and competing against the boys. With a love and passion for the game of hockey that can't be beat, her hard work paid off with a scholarship to Colgate University.

But never in a million years did Breanne expect that, on the cusp of her team qualifying for the ECAC tournament for the first time in program history, her life would forever change.
